Multiswitch satellitare Schwaiger SEW4058531

This SCHWAIGER multi switch distributes digital signals from one satellite position to up to eight subscribers. It accepts signals from a Quad or Quattro LNB and can also pass terrestrial signals. The device supports a frequency range of 950–2150 MHz and is intended for installation in multi-user satellite reception systems.

Advantages

The Schwaiger SEW4058531 provides five inputs and eight outputs to supply independent programme access to each subscriber. It offers an output level of 100 dBµV and operates on standard mains power (230 V, 50 Hz). Its compact housing (360 × 58 × 120 mm) and light weight (0.75 kg) simplify mounting and integration into existing installations.

Suitable for

• Apartment buildings and multi-dwelling units
• SME buildings with shared satellite reception
• Situations requiring distribution from one satellite position to multiple receivers

How to use

Connect the Quad or Quattro LNB outputs and the terrestrial antenna input to the corresponding inputs on the multiswitch. Run coaxial cables from the eight outputs to the satellite receivers in the subscriber apartments or rooms. Power the unit from a 230 V mains outlet. Each connected receiver can then independently select programmes provided by the satellite feed.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, correctly routed coaxial cables and standard F-type connectors to minimise signal loss; if cable runs are long, consider using low-loss cable or in-line amplifiers. Ensure the multiswitch is installed in a dry, ventilated location and that connections are secured to prevent moisture ingress.
