Multiswitch satellitare Schwaiger SEW4098531

This SCHWAIGER Satellite multiswitch SEW4098531 distributes digital signals from two satellite positions and terrestrial input to up to eight subscribers. It accepts two Quattro LNBs and terrestrial signals, supports input frequencies from 950 to 2150 MHz and provides an output level of 100 dBµV. The unit is powered from 230 V and has compact dimensions (345 × 68 × 120 mm), making it suitable for wall mounting in installations that require reliable multi-receiver distribution.

Advantages

The multiswitch features nine inputs and eight outputs to feed multiple receivers independently. Colour-coded connectors reduce installation errors by clearly marking satellite and terrestrial connections. The device supports the full DVB-S/DVB-S2 frequency range for standard satellite reception and offers stable output level and low power consumption with a 1000 mA supply requirement.

Suitable for

• Apartment buildings or multi-room homes requiring distribution of two satellite positions
• Small commercial installations with up to eight satellite receivers
• Setups using two Quattro LNBs and a terrestrial antenna

How to use

Connect two Quattro LNBs to the designated satellite inputs and the terrestrial antenna to the terrestrial input, following the colour-coded connectors to avoid mix-ups. Mount the multiswitch in a dry, ventilated location and connect it to the 230 V mains supply. Run coaxial cables from each of the eight subscriber outputs to individual satellite receivers; each subscriber can then independently select channels across both satellite positions.

Recommendations

For best performance and minimal signal loss use quality coaxial cables and, where necessary, inline amplifiers or high-quality splitters. Verify correct LNB wiring before final installation and ensure the unit is protected from moisture and extreme temperatures.
