Nastro adesivo double-sided Tesa 04964-00030-00, supporto in tessuto, 25 mm × 50 m

Tesa double-sided tape 04964-00030-00 provides a fabric-backed adhesive solution for applications that require a strong, flexible bond. The tape is 25 mm wide and 50 m long with a cloth carrier that conforms to irregular surfaces and offers improved shear strength compared with thin film tapes. It is designed for mounting, fixing trims, temporary holds and craft tasks where manual cutting and easy handling are important.

Advantages

The cloth carrier delivers good conformability on textured and uneven surfaces while maintaining dimensional stability under shear loads. The permanent acrylic adhesive offers reliable initial tack and adhesion to a variety of materials including many plastics, painted surfaces and metal. The tape is easy to cut by hand or with a dispenser and can be applied quickly without the need for mechanical fasteners, leaving a low-profile joint.

Suitable for

• Mounting lightweight trims, nameplates and decorative elements
• Temporary holding during assembly or repairs
• Crafts, model making and DIY projects
• Fixing cables, soft seals and small profiles to flat or slightly curved surfaces

Key specifications

• Carrier type: cloth / fabric for conformability
• Width: 25 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Adhesive: permanent acrylic for general-purpose bonding
• Profile: double-sided tape with removable liner

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, oil or grease before application. Measure and cut the required length with scissors or a tape dispenser, peel off the liner and press the adhesive side firmly onto the first surface. Remove the remaining liner and align the second surface, then apply firm pressure across the bonded area to ensure intimate contact. For best results, allow full adhesion to develop at ambient temperature and avoid loading the bond heavily immediately after application.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For improved adhesion on low-energy plastics or powder-coated surfaces, perform a compatibility test before full application. When bonding heavy parts or when exposure to high temperatures or solvents is expected, consider mechanical fastening or a specialist structural adhesive in addition to the tape.
