Nastro adesivo double-sided Tesa 55731, rimovibile, 50 mm × 10 m

Double-sided tape Tesa 55731, removable, 50 mm × 10 m is a repositionable adhesive tape designed for temporary bonding and mounting applications. The tape combines a moderate-strength adhesive with a removable formulation to allow clean detachment from many common surfaces without leaving visible residue. With a 50 mm width and 10 m length, it is sized for a variety of home, office and craft tasks that require stable hold with the option to remove or reposition later.

Advantages

The removable adhesive provides reliable temporary fixation while enabling residue-free removal on a wide range of substrates. Its 50 mm width covers larger contact areas for increased stability compared with narrow tapes, and the 10 m roll offers multiple uses from a single spool. The double-sided construction hides the fastening from view and creates neat joins for mounting lightweight objects, displays or craft elements. The tape is compatible with smooth and painted surfaces and is formulated to allow repositioning during installation.

Suitable for

• Temporary mounting of posters, photos and lightweight signage
• Repositionable fixtures for craft and hobby projects
• Holding and aligning materials during assembly or light repairs
• Home and office applications where clean removal is required

Key specifications

• Adhesive type: removable, repositionable formulation
• Construction: double-sided adhesive tape
• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 10 m
• Suitable surfaces: smooth, painted and similarly finished substrates

How to use

Ensure both surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust, grease or loose particles. Cut the required length from the roll, apply the adhesive side to the primary surface and press evenly to ensure full contact. Remove the protective liner and position the second surface; press firmly and smooth to remove air pockets. For best results, apply at room temperature and allow a short dwell time before applying load. To remove, peel slowly at a low angle and, if necessary, warm the area slightly with a hairdryer to ease detachment.

Recommendations

Not recommended for permanent structural fixing, rough or highly porous surfaces, or for use with sensitive wallpapers or surfaces where adhesive removal may cause damage. Test on an inconspicuous area before extended use and avoid prolonged exposure to UV, heat above normal indoor temperatures, or heavy loads beyond the tape's temporary-hold design.
