Nastro adesivo per imballaggio Tesa 57214 PVC trasparente 66 m x 50 mm, 1 pezzo

Tesa 57214 PVC transparent packing tape provides a clear, durable sealing solution for cartons and packages. The tape is 66 m long and 50 mm wide, made from PVC with a transparent finish that preserves visible labels and markings. Supplied as a single roll, this packing tape is intended for general packing, shipping, storage and warehouse use where reliable adhesion and a neat appearance are required.

Advantages

The PVC construction offers good tensile strength and resistance to splitting during application, while the transparent finish keeps printed information visible. The tape’s 50 mm width balances coverage and ease of handling, and the 66 m length reduces the frequency of roll changes in busy packing environments. Its formulation adheres well to cardboard and many plastics commonly used in packaging.

Suitable for

• Sealing corrugated cardboard boxes for shipping and storage
• Packaging items in warehouses and distribution centres
• General-purpose office and retail packing tasks
• Securing light plastic-wrapped goods and protective film

When it may not be suitable

This transparent PVC tape is not intended for heavy structural bundling or lifting of heavy loads; its design is for sealing rather than load-bearing. It may perform less effectively on very dusty, wet or oily surfaces where surface contamination prevents good adhesion.

Key specifications

• Length: 66 m
• Width: 50 mm
• Material: PVC
• Colour/finish: Transparent
• Quantity: 1 roll

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean and dry before application. Pull the tape from the roll and press firmly along the seam or edge to be sealed, smoothing with a hand or a tape dispenser to remove air pockets. For box bottoms, run two parallel strips or a single strip across the centre plus two across the edges for heavier contents. Replace the roll when tape supply is low and store unused rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

What to consider before purchase

• Confirm the required tape width and length for your packing equipment and application
• Check surface conditions (clean, dry, free of dust/oil) for optimal adhesion
• Consider whether transparent finish is needed to keep labels visible

Recommendations

Use with a standard 50 mm dispenser for faster, safer application; apply firm pressure to achieve maximum adhesion and store rolls flat in a shaded area to maintain tape performance.
