Nastro adesivo Tesa 4970 9 mm x 50 m

Tesa 4970 9 mm x 50 m is a white PVC adhesive tape designed for general-purpose sealing, insulating and protecting tasks. The tape combines a flexible PVC carrier with a strong pressure-sensitive adhesive, providing dependable bonding to a variety of common surfaces. Its 9 mm width and 50 m roll length make it practical for repeated repairs, single-use installations and long runs where a narrow, precise tape is required.

Advantages

The PVC construction gives the tape good dimensional stability and resistance to abrasion, while the pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures fast tack and reliable hold on clean, dry substrates. The white finish provides a neutral visual result and can be used where a discreet appearance is preferred. The roll format offers long coverage and economical use for both professional and DIY tasks.

Suitable for

• Sealing cable bundles and small harnesses
• Insulating low-voltage connections and splices
• Masking narrow edges and joints during painting or finishing
• Temporary fixes and holding components during assembly
• Labeling small items or marking areas where a narrow white tape is needed

Key specifications

• Material: PVC carrier with pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Color: white
• Width: 9 mm
• Length: 50 m per roll
• Adhesive type: acrylic/solvent-based pressure-sensitive adhesive (general-purpose bonding)
• Typical application temperature range: suitable for indoor and limited outdoor use

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease or loose particles before applying the tape. Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press firmly onto the substrate to achieve full contact. For best results, apply pressure along the tape length to activate the adhesive and improve the bond. When removing, pull back slowly at a low angle to reduce adhesive residue; if permanent bonding is required, allow the adhesive to set under pressure for a short period.

Recommendations

For consistent performance, store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and high humidity. Avoid prolonged exposure to extreme temperatures and solvents. Test adhesion on an inconspicuous area when using on painted or sensitive surfaces.
