Nastro adesivo TESA 56190-00008 20 m 19 mm

Tesa duct tape 56190-00008 is a general-purpose adhesive tape measuring 20 m in length and 19 mm in width. Designed for a variety of household, workshop and light industrial tasks, the tape combines strong adhesion with conformability to curved and irregular surfaces. The cloth-backed construction provides tear resistance and handling stability while the adhesive layer ensures reliable bonding to common materials such as cardboard, plastic, metal and painted surfaces.

Advantages

The tape delivers consistent tack and shear resistance for short- to medium-term fixes. Its narrow 19 mm width makes it suitable for precision repairs and craft projects where larger rolls would be cumbersome. The cloth backing offers flexibility, allowing the tape to follow contours without lifting, and the adhesive formulation balances removability with holding power on many substrates. The product is compact and easy to store, suitable for keeping in a toolbox or drawer for quick access.

Suitable for

• Temporary repairs on tubing, hoses and cables
• Sealing and reinforcing cardboard packaging and cartons
• Securing loose parts during assembly or transport
• DIY craft projects and masking for light painting tasks
• Labeling and bundling small items

Key specifications

• Tape length: 20 m
• Tape width: 19 mm
• Backing material: cloth-backed adhesive tape
• Adhesion type: pressure-sensitive adhesive for general-purpose applications
• Typical properties: flexible, tear-resistant, conformable to irregular surfaces

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free of dust or grease before application to achieve optimal adhesion. Cut or tear the required length of tape and apply with firm pressure, smoothing any air pockets to improve contact. For curved or irregular shapes, press the tape progressively along the contour to maintain full adhesion. When removing, lift an edge and pull back slowly at a low angle to reduce the risk of residue or surface damage; test on a small area if using on delicate finishes.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance. For long-term or structural sealing tasks, consider application-specific tapes; use this duct tape for repairs, bundling and general-purpose tasks where moderate holding power and flexibility are required.
