Nastro di copertura 3M 3M-201E 48 mm x 50 m — nastro per protezione colore e superfici

3M 3M-201E masking tape 48 mm x 50 m is designed for paint masking and temporary surface protection during painting, decorating and light automotive work. The tape provides accurate paint lines, adheres to a variety of substrates with controlled tack, and removes cleanly after short-term indoor use or limited outdoor exposure. It is supplied on a roll convenient for hand application or use with a simple dispenser.

Advantages

The tape delivers consistent edge definition for painted surfaces while offering controlled adhesion that minimizes surface damage and residue on removal. Its width and roll length balance ease of handling with coverage efficiency for trim, molding and joint areas. The product is compatible with common paints and primers and performs reliably in typical indoor painting conditions and short-term outdoor masking tasks.

How to use

Apply the tape to a clean, dry surface, pressing down firmly along the length to ensure good contact. For straight paint lines, align the tape edge carefully and smooth it with your finger or a flat tool to eliminate gaps. For corners and irregular profiles, use short sections and overlap slightly to maintain continuous coverage. After painting, remove the tape within the time recommended for short-term masking to avoid adhesive transfer; pull back slowly at a low angle to minimize edge lifting.

Recommendations

The tape is intended for temporary masking; store rolls in a cool, dry place and test on an inconspicuous area if surface sensitivity is unknown. For prolonged outdoor exposure or specialty substrates, consider a tape formulated specifically for extended UV resistance or delicate surfaces.
