Nastro in tessuto Tesa 4657, 38 mm x 50 m, grigio, tessuto speciale rivestito in plastica

Tesa fabric tape 4657, 38 mm x 50 m, gray, plastic-coated special fabric is a flexible, medium‑weight cloth tape engineered for general repair, packaging and DIY applications. The tape combines a woven fabric carrier with a plastic coating that improves moisture resistance and surface protection while maintaining conformability and tear resistance. With a 38 mm width and 50 m roll length, it is intended for extended use in household, workshop and light industrial tasks where a durable, adaptable adhesive tape is required.

Advantages

The plastic-coated special fabric construction gives the tape enhanced durability and resistance to abrasion and moisture compared with uncoated cloth tapes. Its flexible woven carrier conforms to uneven surfaces and edges, allowing effective edge protection and sealing. The adhesive system provides secure bonding to a variety of substrates commonly encountered in repair and packaging work. The 38 mm width offers a balance between handling ease and coverage, while the 50 m roll reduces the need for frequent replenishment.

Suitable for

• General repair and maintenance around the home and workshop
• Packaging, bundling and temporary fixation of goods
• Edge protection and surface sealing on panels, pipes and equipment
• DIY projects requiring a flexible, tear‑resistant tape

Key specifications

• Width: 38 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Color: gray
• Carrier material: woven special fabric with plastic coating
• Surface finish: plastic-coated for improved moisture resistance
• Typical properties: flexible, tear-resistant, abrasion resistant

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust, oils or loose particles before application. Cut the required length of tape from the roll and press the tape firmly onto the surface, smoothing along the length to remove air pockets and ensure good contact with the substrate. For corners and edges, apply with slight overlap and rub the tape down to secure adhesion. Use suitable tools (scissors or a sharp knife) to obtain a clean edge; avoid stretching the tape excessively during application.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive performance. For best results, apply at moderate temperatures and avoid prolonged exposure to heavy moisture or direct weathering. Test adhesion on unfamiliar substrates before extended use and replace the tape if signs of adhesive failure or significant wear appear.
