Nastro per mascheratura Tesa 4348 19 mm x 50 m, light crepe

Tesa Masking Tape 4348 19 mm x 50 m is a light crepe adhesive tape designed for painting and surface protection tasks. The 19 mm width and 50 m length provide a compact roll suitable for precise edge masking, trim work and short runs where controlled tearability and conformability are required. The crepe paper backing offers flexibility to follow slight curves and uneven surfaces while the adhesive delivers reliable bonding to common indoor substrates and allows clean removal after paint drying.

Advantages

The tape combines a light crepe backing with a solvent-free adhesive system that balances initial tack and residue-free removal on many painted and unpainted surfaces. Its narrow width supports accurate masking along window frames, skirting boards and mouldings, while the 50 m length reduces the need for frequent roll changes. Controlled hand-tearability and good conformability make application fast and reduce tool dependence.

Suitable for

• Indoor painting and touch-up work
• Masking narrow edges and trim
• Temporary surface protection during maintenance
• Detail work around curved or uneven profiles

Key specifications

• Width: 19 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Backing material: light crepe paper
• Adhesive type: solvent-free adhesive formulated for clean removal
• Hand-tearable construction for easy application
• Suitable for a range of indoor substrates including painted surfaces

How to use

Ensure the surface is clean, dry and free of dust or loose particles before applying the tape. Unroll the required length and press the adhesive side firmly along the edge or surface to be masked, smoothing with a finger or a flat tool to ensure full contact. For curved profiles, apply with light tension and conform the crepe backing to the shape. After painting, allow the coating to dry sufficiently according to paint manufacturer guidelines and remove the tape by pulling back slowly at a low angle to minimize the risk of paint lifting.

Recommendations

Use this 19 mm masking tape primarily for short-term indoor masking and detail work. Avoid prolonged outdoor exposure and extended application periods on delicate or freshly applied, highly sensitive finishes; test on an inconspicuous area if in doubt about compatibility with a particular surface or coating.
