Nastro riparatore autoagglomerante ShiverPeaks 89866, lunghezza 10 m

Self-Fusing Repair Tape ShiverPeaks 89866, 10 m length is a 10-meter long, adhesive-free repair tape that bonds to itself to form a seamless, waterproof and flexible wrap. Designed for emergency sealing, insulation and temporary repairs, the tape creates a durable, conforming seal around hoses, cables, pipes and outdoor equipment without leaving adhesive residue. Its adhesive-free self-fusing action produces a tight, flexible sleeve suitable for short-term fixes and protective wrapping in maintenance and field conditions.

Advantages

The tape fuses to itself to create a continuous, waterproof barrier that resists moisture and provides electrical insulation where required. Being adhesive-free, it leaves no sticky residue and retains elasticity over a wide temperature range. Compact and lightweight, the roll is easy to carry for quick, tool-free applications and can be wrapped tightly to rebuild damaged insulation or form a protective covering. The material tolerates mechanical stress and conforms to irregular shapes, enabling reliable temporary repairs.

Suitable for

• Sealing leaks in hoses and flexible tubing
• Insulating electrical connections and splices (temporary)
• Wrapping and protecting cables and cords
• Temporary repairs to pipes and outdoor gear in field conditions
• Bundling and reinforcing damaged insulation or coverings

Key specifications

• Length: 10 metres
• Type: self-fusing, adhesive-free tape
• Function: waterproof sealing, insulation and flexible wrap
• Form: conformable roll suitable for irregular surfaces
• Performance: provides a continuous, flexible sleeve with moisture resistance

How to use

Clean and dry the area to be repaired as much as possible. Stretch the tape slightly and start wrapping by overlapping each turn by approximately 50% to ensure full fusion between layers; continue wrapping beyond the damaged area to create a reliable seal. Apply firm pressure as you wrap so that the tape bonds to itself and forms a continuous sleeve. For electrical insulation, ensure the tape is wrapped to cover the entire exposed conductor and extend onto the intact insulation. Allow the wrapped section to stabilize under normal conditions before subjecting it to pressure or tension.

Recommendations

Use the tape for temporary and emergency repairs; it is intended as a short- to medium-term solution and should be inspected regularly. Avoid prolonged exposure to high temperatures or aggressive chemicals that could degrade the material. For permanent repairs or high-pressure systems, follow standard repair procedures and consult a qualified technician.
