Nastro TESA 4163 33m nero

tesaflex® 4163 is a professional PVC-based adhesive tape designed for electrical insulation, cable marking and general repair tasks. The tape combines a soft PVC backing with an acrylate adhesive that delivers high UV and temperature resistance, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. With a roll length of 33 m and a width of 25 mm, this black insulation tape provides durable performance in a range of conditions.

Advantages

The acrylate adhesive ensures strong adhesion while resisting UV exposure, acids and solvents. The soft PVC backing gives the tape good flexibility and an elongation at break of up to 250%, and the material withstands temperatures up to 105 °C. The tape offers reliable tensile strength (approx. 30 N/mm²) and can remain in outdoor use for up to 104 weeks.

Suitable for

• Electrical insulation and cable marking
• Temporary repairs and bundling of cables
• Indoor and outdoor use where UV and temperature resistance is required

How to use

Clean and dry the surface before applying the tape. Cut or tear the required length, wrap the tape tightly around the cable or object with slight overlap to ensure continuous coverage. For insulation, wrap in several layers as needed to achieve the required dielectric thickness. When used outdoors, check adhesion periodically and replace the tape if signs of degradation appear.

Recommendations

For electrical insulation and long-term outdoor applications choose overlapping wraps and avoid stretching the tape excessively during application. Store the tape in a cool, dry place to maintain adhesive performance.
