Nastro Tesa 4651 25 mm x 25 m nero

Tesa 4651 25 mm x 25 m Black is a general-purpose cloth-backed adhesive tape offered in a 25 mm width and a 25 m roll length. The black tape combines a fabric carrier with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to deliver reliable holding power on a variety of surfaces. It is supplied as a single roll suitable for light repairs, bundling, masking in workshops or for craft and hobby tasks that require a flexible, tear-resistant tape.

Advantages

The cloth carrier provides good tear resistance and conformability around curved or irregular surfaces while the adhesive ensures quick initial tack and long-lasting adhesion under normal indoor conditions. The tape cuts or tears easily by hand in many situations, is simple to apply and removes cleanly from some surfaces without leaving excessive residue when removed correctly. Its black colour offers discreet appearance for visible joins or repairs.

Suitable for

• Temporary fixes and light repairs on fabric, plastic, metal and wood
• Bundling cables and hoses where a robust, flexible wrap is needed
• Crafting, model making and DIY projects requiring a narrow, strong tape
• Masking or holding components in place during assembly or painting (short-term)

Key specifications

• Width: 25 mm
• Length: 25 m
• Carrier: cloth/fabric-backed
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Colour: black
• Tear resistance: high for a narrow cloth tape

How to use

Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press the adhesive side firmly onto the clean, dry surface. For best results, ensure the surface is free of dust, oil and loose particles. Smooth the tape with finger pressure or a roller to remove air pockets and improve adhesion. To remove, lift a corner and pull back slowly at a low angle; removal behaviour depends on the substrate and contact time.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Use at moderate indoor temperatures for optimal adhesion. When applying to painted or delicate surfaces, test a small area first to check removability and possible surface effects. For heavy-duty or permanent bonding applications, consider a specialised structural adhesive tape instead of general cloth-backed tape.
