Nastro TESA 4651 50 mm x 50 m nero

Tesa 4651 50 mm x 50 m Black is a versatile adhesive cloth tape with a 50 mm width and a 50 m roll length. Designed by Tesa for general-purpose applications, the tape combines a flexible cloth carrier with a pressure-sensitive adhesive to provide reliable fixation, bundling, temporary repairs and surface protection. The black colour and matte finish make it suitable for visible seams, cable wrapping and situations where a low-reflective appearance is desirable.

Advantages

The tape offers strong initial tack and secure adhesion on a variety of surfaces, including plastics, metals and painted substrates. Its cloth backing gives mechanical strength and tear resistance along the length, while the conformable structure allows it to follow contours and irregular shapes. The product is suitable for indoor and outdoor use under normal conditions and resists light abrasion during handling.

Suitable for

• Temporary repairs and patching
• Cable and hose bundling or marking
• Sealing and protection of edges or joints
• Stage, set and theatre applications where a black, low-reflective tape is required

Key specifications

• Width: 50 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Colour: Black
• Backing: Cloth (flexible fabric carrier)
• Adhesive type: Pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Finish: Matte, low reflectivity

How to use

Cut or tear the required length from the roll and press the tape firmly onto a clean, dry surface to achieve optimal adhesion. Smooth the tape along its length to remove trapped air and ensure full contact of the adhesive. For bundling, wrap the tape with consistent overlap to secure cables or hoses. For outdoor or long-term use, ensure the substrate is free of grease, dust and loose particles to improve performance.

Recommendations

Store the tape in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For strongest results, apply at moderate temperatures and test adhesion on a small area if the substrate is delicate or painted. Remove tape by peeling back slowly at a low angle to reduce the risk of surface damage; if residue remains, use an appropriate adhesive remover following the surface manufacturer’s guidance.
