Nastro Tesa 4965 25 mm x 50 m

Tesa 4965 25 mm x 50 m is a red ABS-based adhesive tape designed for reliable bonding and surface protection. The tape combines a durable Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene backing with an aggressive pressure-sensitive adhesive to deliver consistent performance on a variety of substrates. With a width of 25 mm and a roll length of 50 m, it is suited to continuous application and manual or machine dispensing.

Advantages

The ABS backing provides dimensional stability and resistance to abrasion and impact while maintaining flexibility for contouring. The pressure-sensitive adhesive ensures high initial tack and long-term adhesion on many common materials, including metals, plastics and painted surfaces. The red colour improves visibility for marking and safety applications, and the roll format reduces the need for frequent replacements during repetitive tasks.

Suitable for

• Bonding parts in light assembly and repair work
• Sealing edges and joints against dust and light moisture
• Temporary or semi-permanent fixing on metal, plastic or painted substrates
• Marking areas for safety or workflow organization

Key specifications

• Backing material: Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS)
• Adhesive type: pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Colour: red
• Width: 25 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor use

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from grease or dust before application. Cut the tape to the required length and press firmly across the entire surface to ensure full contact between tape and substrate. For curved or irregular surfaces, apply with overlapping passes and rub the tape down to promote adhesion. When used outdoors, allow adequate pressure and time for the adhesive to set, and avoid applying at very low temperatures for best results.

Recommendations

For optimal adhesion, test the tape on a small area of the target surface prior to full application. Store rolls in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve adhesive properties and backing integrity.
