Cavo di rete Helos 151871 0,3m Cat6a S/FTP grigio

The Helos 151871 0.3m Cat6a S/FTP Grey networking cable from Draka is a short patch cable designed for high-speed Ethernet connections. Built to the Cat6a specification with S/FTP (shielded/foiled twisted pair) construction, the cable reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk while supporting high data throughput. Both ends are terminated with standard RJ-45 connectors in a compact grey jacket that suits rack, switch, and desktop environments where a short, reliable connection is required.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding provides enhanced protection against external interference and internal pair-to-pair crosstalk, improving signal integrity in congested cabling environments. The Cat6a standard supports higher frequencies and bandwidth than Cat5e and Cat6, enabling stable 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance over short runs. The 0.3m length minimizes cable clutter and latency between closely positioned devices while the robust connectors ensure consistent mating and signal transfer.

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6a (augmented)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid + foil on individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Length: 0.3 m
• Color: Grey
• Suitable for: up to 10 Gbps over short distances (Cat6a performance)

How to use

Insert each RJ-45 connector into the corresponding Ethernet ports of the devices to be connected until the latch clicks into place. Use the cable for direct patch connections in racks, between switch ports, or to link network interfaces on nearby devices. Avoid sharp bends near the connectors and do not pull on the jacket when unplugging; grip the connector body to remove the cable. For optimal performance, keep the cable separate from sources of strong electromagnetic interference and do not run it tightly alongside power cables.

Recommendations

Use this short Cat6a S/FTP cable for clean, low-latency links in dense rack environments or for tidy desktop connections. For longer runs or installations requiring in-wall cabling, select appropriately rated longer-length Cat6a or higher-specification cables and follow local installation standards.
