networking Cavo ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5B

The ShiverPeaks BS75511-1.5B is a 1.5 m Cat7 networking cable with S/FTP (S‑STP) shielding and gold‑plated RJ-45 contacts. Designed for high-speed data transmission, the cable uses individually shielded twisted pairs and an overall braid to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain stable connections. The blue jacket provides durability and easy identification in installations.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction ensures improved protection against crosstalk and external noise compared with unshielded cables, while gold‑plated contacts reduce corrosion and improve contact reliability. A 1.5 m length offers flexibility for connecting nearby devices without excess cable clutter. The Cat7 standard supports high bandwidths suitable for demanding network tasks.

Suitable for

• Wired gaming setups
• 4K/8K streaming and high-bandwidth media transfer
• Office and home network connections between router, switch, and workstation
• Professional network environments requiring reduced interference

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your router, switch or modem and the other end to a PC, gaming console, smart TV or network device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click to secure a reliable electrical and mechanical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to preserve signal quality.

Recommendations

For best performance, use the cable within its 1.5 m length without tight bends; avoid running it parallel and close to power lines or heavy electrical equipment. Verify that connected devices and network infrastructure support Cat7 or compatible standards to take full advantage of the cable’s shielding and bandwidth capabilities.
