Patch cord in fibra ottica Digitus MPO Female OM4 20 m

The Digitus Fiber Optic Patchcord MPO Female OM4 20m is a high-performance MPO/MTP patch cable designed for data center and enterprise network connectivity. With a 20 m length and OM4 multimode fiber (50 µm core), it supports high data rates such as 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s while maintaining compact dimensions and reliable signal integrity.

Advantages

This MPO patchcord offers enhanced data transfer rates and ultra-low loss for efficient, scalable connectivity. Its slim, flexible construction and robust design enable quick deployment and durable operation in dense cabling environments. Compliance with IEC 61754-7 and TIA/EIA-604-5 standards ensures consistent performance across compatible network equipment.

Suitable for

• Data center trunking and spine-leaf connections
• High-density patch panels and rack-to-rack links
• 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s aggregation and switch interconnects
• Enterprise backbone and campus fiber links

How to use

Route the MPO patchcord between MPO-compatible transceivers, patch panels or harnesses, ensuring correct alignment of the MPO key and pins. Handle the cable by the connector housings and avoid tight bends; follow standard fiber handling practices to maintain low insertion loss. Confirm polarity and test links after installation to verify 40 Gb/s or 100 Gb/s channel performance.

Recommendations

Use this OM4 MPO patchcord in high-density environments where short- to medium-length multimode links are required. Store and install the cable without sharp bends, protect connectors with dust caps when not in use, and perform optical testing after deployment to ensure compliance with data rate requirements.
