Portamina Cimco 212186 1 mm

The Cimco 212186 1 mm mechanical pencil is designed for precise marking and editing tasks. It combines a 1 mm red lead with a housing of plastic and stainless steel, offering a balanced feel and a visually distinct black, orange and silver finish. Supplied as a single unit, this mechanical pencil provides a consistent line width and reliable feed suitable for writing, annotating and correction work where clear, durable red marks are required.

Advantages

The pencil’s 1 mm lead produces bold, uniform red lines that remain visible on most paper types. A stainless steel section improves durability at the tip while the plastic components reduce overall weight. The three-color design enhances visibility in a stationery drawer, and the mechanical feed eliminates the need for sharpening, ensuring steady performance during extended use.

How to use

Press the push-button mechanism to advance the 1 mm red lead in short increments; avoid excessive force to prevent lead breakage. Use the pencil for direct writing, underlining or marking; replace the lead according to the manufacturer’s lead type for 1 mm mechanical pencils. Store the pencil capped or retracted when not in use to protect the tip and prevent accidental marking.

Recommendations

For consistent results, use 1 mm leads formulated for mechanical pencils and handle the instrument at a moderate angle to the paper. Keep spare leads of the same color available for uninterrupted work and avoid applying heavy pressure to maintain tip integrity.
