Presa RJ-45 ShiverPeaks BS08-10116

The ShiverPeaks BS08-10116 Outlet Box RJ-45 is a compact surface-mount enclosure engineered to house a standard RJ-45 network connector. With external dimensions of 50 mm width, 50 mm height and 30 mm depth, the unit is sized for discreet installation on walls or in shallow mounting locations where space is limited. The product is intended to provide a stable point for Ethernet terminations in residential and commercial network installations while protecting the connector and cable entry from mechanical stress.

Advantages

The outlet box offers a compact footprint and a tidy appearance that simplifies placement near workstations, routers or network switches. Its construction is designed for reliable durability under typical indoor conditions, helping to maintain connector alignment and cable strain relief. Installation requires minimal surface area and supports straightforward routing of Ethernet cables, reducing installation time for technicians and installers.

Suitable for

• Home Ethernet outlets for desktop PCs, smart TVs and networked devices
• Office workstations and small business network points
• Patch panel extensions or temporary network drops in meeting rooms
• Environments where a shallow surface-mounted box is required

Key specifications

• Type: Surface-mount outlet box for RJ-45 connector
• External dimensions: 50 mm (W) x 50 mm (H) x 30 mm (D)
• Material: durable indoor-grade enclosure (plastic)
• Connector compatibility: standard RJ-45 keystone modules / jacks
• Mounting: surface-mounted with screw fixings
• Color: neutral finish suitable for indoor installations

How to use

Prepare the mounting surface and route the Ethernet cable to the installation point. Terminate the cable to a compatible RJ-45 keystone jack following appropriate wiring standards (T568A or T568B) and secure the keystone module into the outlet box. Position the box on the wall or surface, align the screw holes and fasten with appropriate screws. After securing the enclosure, test the network connection with a cable tester or connected device to confirm continuity and signal quality.

Recommendations

Use a properly rated keystone jack and follow local wiring codes. For best results, maintain cable bend radius and provide strain relief at the entry point. Avoid outdoor exposure unless additional environmental protection is applied.
