Presa ShiverPeaks BS74280-S — 2×RJ-45, Cat6a, nero

The ShiverPeaks BS74280-S is a wall-mounted socket outlet featuring two RJ-45 ports rated for Category 6a cabling. Finished in black, this single-module outlet provides two independent network connections suitable for structured Ethernet installations that require reliable Gigabit and 10 Gigabit performance. The compact design is intended for flush mounting in standard wall boxes and integrates with modern residential and commercial network cabling systems.

Advantages

This dual RJ-45 outlet supports Cat6a performance, ensuring headroom for high data rates and reduced crosstalk compared with lower categories. The black finish offers a discreet appearance that complements a variety of interiors while maintaining professional aesthetics. The unit supplies two separate network ports in one module, simplifying installation and reducing the number of wall plates needed for multi-device setups.

Suitable for

• Home network points requiring high-speed Ethernet for media streaming and NAS access
• Office workstations with multiple wired devices such as PCs and VoIP phones
• Meeting rooms and training spaces needing reliable wired connectivity for conferencing
• Structured cabling installations prepared for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit links

Key specifications

• Connector type: 2 × RJ-45
• Cabling category: Cat6a (suitable for 10 Gigabit Ethernet over specified distances)
• Finish: Black
• Mounting: Wall-mounted, single-module (flush mount in standard back box)
• Port count: Two independent network ports

How to use

Install the outlet into a compatible standard wall back box following local electrical and low-voltage installation rules. Terminate the incoming Cat6a cable pairs to the connector according to the T568A or T568B wiring scheme used in the site. After termination and testing with appropriate network test equipment, secure the module to the wall box and attach the cover plate. Connect devices using standard RJ-45 patch cables to the outlet for immediate network access.

Recommendations

To achieve the specified Cat6a performance, use certified Cat6a cabling and maintain recommended bend radius and separation from power cables. Test each link after installation for continuity, pair balance, and performance up to the required bandwidth. For mixed wiring environments, ensure consistent wiring scheme (T568A or T568B) across the installation to avoid connectivity issues.
