How to use

Install the half-size plate into a compatible mounting frame or aperture, ensuring the device is secured and aligned with the surrounding faceplate. Connect the internal USB cable to the required upstream USB port or power source that provides a 5 V supply. Insert the USB A plugs of devices or extension cables into the A-socket to charge or establish a USB 2.0 connection. Verify that connected equipment is compatible with A-to-A female interfaces before use.

Recommendations

Use this outlet with devices and cables rated for USB 2.0 and 5 V. Avoid forcing incompatible connectors; if data transfer is needed at higher speeds or modern device charging at greater currents, consider using dedicated USB 3.x or powered outlets suited to those requirements.
