Prolunga AS Schwabe 60353, 16 A, gialla, 15 m

AS Schwabe 60353 extension cable is a 15 m long, yellow power lead rated for 16 A intended for temporary extension of electrical connections. The cable combines a visible outer sheath with a length that covers medium-distance runs between a power source and equipment. It is designed for general-purpose use where a 16 A supply is required and offers a straightforward way to add reach for tools, garden equipment, event devices and site power needs.

Advantages

The bright yellow outer sheath improves visibility for reduced trip hazards and easier identification among other cords. Rated for 16 A, the cable supports appliances and tools that require higher current than common household leads. At 15 m length it balances portability and range, allowing flexible placement of equipment without the need for multiple shorter cables. The lead is suitable for temporary indoor and outdoor use in typical non-permanent installations.

How to use

Before use, inspect the cable visually for any damage to the sheath or connectors. Unroll the cable fully to avoid heat buildup and reduce electrical resistance. Connect the plug to a compatible 16 A rated power outlet and then attach the equipment to the cable’s socket end. Keep connections dry and protected from mechanical damage; do not route the cable across sharp edges or through doors where it may be pinched. After use, disconnect from the power source, coil the cable without tight bends and store in a dry place.

Recommendations

Use this extension cable only for temporary connections and ensure connected devices do not exceed the 16 A rating. For prolonged outdoor exposure, provide additional protection against moisture and mechanical strain, and avoid continuous operation near heat sources.
