Prolunga elettrica Bachmann BM0010706, 3G 1,5 mm², 16 A, 250 V, nero

Bachmann BM0010706 is a three-conductor power extension cable with a conductor cross-section of 1.5 mm², rated for 16 A and 250 V. The cable features a flexible black outer sheath and is intended to extend mains connections for equipment and appliances. It is suitable for routing power in offices, workshops and domestic environments where standard single-phase mains connections are required.

Advantages

The cable offers a balance of flexibility and current-carrying capacity appropriate for light commercial and domestic use. Its 3G configuration provides a dedicated grounding conductor for safer operation of earthed appliances. The 1.5 mm² conductor size supports typical loads up to 16 A while maintaining a compact and pliable cable profile for easier handling and routing in limited spaces.

Suitable for

• Extending mains power to office equipment such as monitors and printers
• Powering small workshop tools and bench equipment with single-phase supply
• Connecting household appliances that require up to 16 A
• Temporary or semi-permanent power routing in event setups and renovation sites

Key specifications

• Conductors: three-core (live, neutral, earth)
• Conductor cross-section: 1.5 mm²
• Rated current: 16 A
• Rated voltage: 250 V (single-phase)
• Sheath colour: black
• Cable type: flexible power extension cable suitable for indoor use

How to use

Inspect the cable and connectors for visible damage before each use. Connect the cable between a compatible mains outlet and the appliance or equipment to be powered, ensuring correct polarity and a secure connection. Use the grounding conductor where applicable and avoid overloading the cable by confirming that the appliance current draw does not exceed 16 A. Position the cable to prevent tripping hazards and avoid routing it across sharp edges or hot surfaces.

Recommendations

Do not use the cable in permanently fixed installations or in locations exposed to moisture unless specified for such conditions. For continuous or heavy-duty loads, consult applicable wiring regulations and consider a cable with a larger conductor cross-section. Replace the cable if the sheath is damaged or if the cable shows signs of overheating.
