Prolunga HDMI Kindermann 7456000710 — 10 m HDMI ottico attivo 4K 60Hz

The Kindermann 7456000710 active optical HDMI extension cable is a 10 m solution designed to extend HDMI connections while preserving high-resolution video quality. Supporting HDMI signal transmission up to 4K at 60 Hz, this active optical cable reduces signal attenuation over longer runs compared with standard copper cables. It is compact and flexible enough for routed installations behind displays, through ceilings, or in conference room setups and is engineered for stable picture transfer between source devices and displays or projectors.

Advantages

The active optical design enables reliable transmission of 4K 60 Hz video over a 10 m length with minimal signal degradation. Because the cable uses optical conductors for the high-speed data channels, it is less susceptible to electromagnetic interference and maintains consistent image quality across longer distances. The cable is backward compatible with lower resolutions and standard HDMI features, and its thin, flexible jacket simplifies routing in confined installation spaces.

Key specifications

How to use

Connect the HDMI source device (laptop, media player, or AV receiver) to the cable’s source end and connect the display device (monitor, TV, or projector) to the cable’s display end. Ensure connectors are fully inserted and that both source and display are powered on. In some installations, passive power support depends on the connected devices; if the display or source does not provide sufficient power, use compatible powered extenders or check device settings. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress to protect the optical fibres.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, verify that source and display support 4K at 60 Hz and use appropriate display settings. Avoid sharp bends and repeated flexing; secure the cable with gentle clips or cable ties and allow service loops near connectors. When integrating into fixed AV installations, test the full signal path before final concealment to confirm resolution, color depth, and audio transmission.
