Prolunga HDMI MediaRange MRCS256, HDMI 2.0, 18 Gbit/s, ARC, HDMI Type-A maschio a femmina, 2 m, nero

MediaRange MRCS256 is a 2 m HDMI extension cable with HDMI Type A male-to-female connectors and gold-plated contacts. It extends existing HDMI connections for TVs, monitors, set-top boxes and AV receivers while preserving signal quality and supporting high-resolution video and multichannel audio.

Advantages

The cable supports HDMI 2.0 features including up to 18 Gbit/s data transfer, 4K UHD at 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz, HDR, 3D formats and Audio Return Channel (ARC). Its plug-and-play design works without drivers on Windows, macOS and Linux. Gold-plated contacts and a sturdy 32 AWG core provide reliable signal transmission and resistance to corrosion, while the 2 m length and standard Type A male-to-female configuration make it simple to extend or reposition HDMI connections.

Suitable for

• Extending HDMI connections between TVs and AV receivers
• Connecting monitors or projectors in offices and meeting rooms
• Extending cables for set-top boxes, media players and game consoles

When it may not be suitable

This HDMI extension cable is intended for short to medium extensions (2 m) and for systems that require HDMI 2.0 bandwidth. It may not be suitable when much longer distances are needed or when HDMI 2.1 features (such as higher bandwidth for 8K or higher refresh rates) are required.

Key specifications

• Cable length: 2 m
• Connectors: HDMI Type A male to HDMI Type A female
• HDMI version: 2.0
• Maximum bandwidth: 18 Gbit/s
• Maximum resolution: up to 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz

How to use

Plug the male HDMI connector into the source device or into the end of an existing HDMI cable, then connect the female end to the display device or to the receiving cable. The cable is plug-and-play and requires no additional drivers; devices should detect the connection automatically. For best results, avoid sharp bends and keep connectors free of dust and debris.

What to consider before purchase

• Required cable length—this product provides a 2 m extension
• Compatibility with your devices' HDMI version and required features (HDMI 2.0, ARC, HDR)
• Whether higher bandwidth (HDMI 2.1) or longer-distance solutions are needed

Recommendations

Use the HDMI extension for distances within typical living-room or office setups; ensure connected devices support HDMI 2.0 features for full 4K @ 60 Hz, HDR and ARC functionality.
