The DIGITUS Unique Series freestanding rack DN-19 47U-8/8-1 is a 19" network cabinet designed for high-demand IT infrastructure. The cabinet measures 2276 mm in height with an 800 x 800 mm footprint, offers 47U of usable rack space and a maximum load capacity of 800 kg. Constructed from up to 1.5 mm sheet steel and finished with an electrostatic powder coat in grey (RAL 7035) or jet black (RAL 9005), it meets IP20 for indoor use and includes a key-locking front door for security.

Advantages

The Unique Series cabinet includes a removable offset roof cover with ventilation slits and a special roof construction for easy mounting of a fan unit. It has a pivot-lever lock system on the front door (adapter for profile half cylinder included), sliding cable entry with rubber sealing at the base and brush-equipped inlets in roof and floor (from 26U and for 800 mm width). How to use

Position the freestanding rack on a level floor and secure it according to local safety requirements. Adjust and install the two pairs of 483 mm (19") profile rails to the required depth, then mount 19" devices into the rails using appropriate cage nuts and screws. Route cables through the roof and floor inlets or the sliding base entry, using the brush and foam rubber seals to maintain tidy cable management and reduce dust ingress. Fit fan modules into the specially designed removable roof cover where additional ventilation is required. Side panels and doors can be removed or swung open for easier access during installation and maintenance.

Recommendations

Use the cabinet indoors in environments that comply with IP20 protection. For improved airflow, install fan units in the roof opening and maintain clear front-to-rear airflow paths.
