Key specifications

• Height: 12 mm
• Diameter: 3.8 cm
• Weight: 13.5 g
• Ingress protection: IP54 (dust protected, water spray resistant)
• Compatibility: Designed for integration with Hikvision digital alarm systems

How to use

Install the detector at the required location following the mounting recommendations of the overall alarm system. Because of its small size, it can be fixed inside enclosures, on flat surfaces or integrated into accessory mounts; ensure the chosen position allows the detector to perform its sensing function without obstruction. Connect the unit to the compatible Hikvision alarm interface or wiring harness according to the system’s installation manual, and configure the alarm panel to recognize the detector as part of the zone layout. After installation, perform functional tests from the alarm control unit to confirm proper signalling and response.

Recommendations

Place the device where it is protected from direct heavy water exposure and where dust accumulation is limited. For reliable long-term operation, follow regular inspection and testing intervals recommended for the broader Hikvision security system and ensure electrical connections remain secure and free from corrosion.
