Rilevatore di movimento Hikvision DS-PDD12P-EG2-WE PIR microonde wireless bianco

The Motion Detector Hikvision DS-PDD12P-EG2-WE PIR Microwave Wireless White is a compact indoor motion sensor that combines passive infrared (PIR) and microwave technologies to detect human movement with high reliability. Designed for wall mounting, this wireless detector provides two-way supervised communication, tamper protection and low-battery reporting. With a detection range of up to 12 m radius and selective pet immunity, it distinguishes human presence from pets and activates on the first deliberate step. The unit is powered by built-in CR123A batteries with an expected service life of up to 5 years, and it operates on a 2415–2445 MHz radio frequency.

Advantages

The detector delivers dual-technology detection (PIR plus microwave) to reduce false alarms while maintaining rapid recognition of human motion. Supervised two-way wireless communication ensures device status, tamper events and low-battery conditions are reliably reported to the control system. Its compact white housing and wall-mount design suit most indoor installations, and the long battery life minimizes maintenance visits. The device’s sensitivity and pet-immunity features are tuned to detect a walking person from the first step while ignoring small animals.

Suitable for

• Indoor residential rooms and hallways where discreet wall-mounted motion detection is needed
• Small to medium office spaces requiring supervised wireless intrusion detection
• Retail outlets and public areas where pet immunity and reliable human detection are required
• Sites where low-maintenance sensors with multi-year battery life are preferred

How to use

Mount the detector on a stable interior wall at the recommended height for optimal coverage, avoiding direct airflow from vents and extreme temperature sources. Enroll the device into the compatible Hikvision wireless security system following the control panel’s pairing procedure, then verify two-way supervision and tamper reporting in the system interface. Aim the sensor to cover primary approach paths; perform a walk-test to confirm a reliable detection zone up to 12 m and adjust positioning if necessary. Replace the built-in CR123A batteries only with the specified type and follow local disposal regulations for used batteries.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, install the detector in locations free from direct sunlight, heating vents, or rapidly changing temperature fields. Perform an initial walk-test and periodic verification after installation to confirm correct pet-immunity behavior and detection coverage. Monitor battery and supervision reports via the control panel to plan replacements before end-of-life.
