Rittal 7240510 PDU rack 19 pollici 1U, 7x prese CEE 7/5, 230V 16A, cavo 2m, grigio

Managing power distribution in a rack can quickly become chaotic—cables tangled, outlets inaccessible, and no clear path for connecting multiple devices. The Rittal 7240510 solves this by providing a clean, rack-mountable power distribution unit that puts seven grounded CEE 7/5 outlets right where you need them. Designed for 19-inch racks, this 1U PDU delivers reliable 230V power to servers, networking gear, and other critical equipment, keeping your installation tidy and efficient.

Who is it for

This PDU is ideal for IT professionals, system integrators, and facility managers who need to power multiple devices in a standard 19-inch rack. It is particularly suited for data centres, server rooms, and network cabinets in Belgium and France, where CEE 7/5 sockets are the norm. If you require a straightforward, no-frills power strip that mounts neatly in 1U of rack space, this unit fits the bill.

Tips

Before installation, verify that your rack has at least 1U of free space and that the input socket matches the CEE 7/7 plug. For optimal cable management, position the PDU near the rear of the rack where equipment power cords are typically located. Always ensure the total connected load does not exceed 16A to prevent overheating. If you need to power devices with different plug types, consider using appropriate adapters, but be mindful of local electrical regulations.
