Router WLAN TP-LINK MB118-4G - 4G LTE, single-band 2,4 GHz, Wi-Fi 4 (802.11n), 300 Mbit/s, Fast Ethernet, 4 antenne esterne, bianco

TP-LINK MB118-4G is a compact outdoor-capable wireless router with a built-in 4G LTE modem and single-band 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi (Wi‑Fi 4 / 802.11n). It provides mobile broadband access with download speeds up to 150 Mbps and upload speeds up to 50 Mbps, and a local Wi‑Fi network with maximum throughput up to 300 Mbps. The device includes four external antennas, one Fast Ethernet port that can function as WAN or LAN, and supports Power over Ethernet (PoE) for flexible indoor placement.

Advantages

The router delivers reliable 4G LTE connectivity and a 2.4 GHz Wi‑Fi network suitable for common online tasks. Its weatherproof enclosure and lightning/ESD protection make it suitable for outdoor installations, while multiple mounting options and PoE support simplify setup. Removable LTE antennas allow upgrading to high‑power alternatives to improve signal strength and coverage. The unit supports FDD‑LTE and TDD‑LTE and accepts a nano SIM card for immediate internet access.

Suitable for

• Outdoor events and backyard Wi‑Fi
• Gardens, patios, pools, cafés, barns and sheds
• Small offices or homes using mobile broadband as primary or backup internet
• Temporary sites where quick, portable internet is needed

How to use

Insert a nano SIM card into the SIM slot, power the device via PoE or DC power, and place the router outdoors where the LTE signal is strongest. If using indoors, run a PoE‑compatible Ethernet cable from the router's PoE port to your indoor device to bring the connection inside. Configure Wi‑Fi settings and network options through the web interface or the MERCUSYS app on your Android or iOS device.

Recommendations

For best performance, mount the router with clear line of sight to the mobile network direction, use PoE for flexible indoor placement, and consider higher‑gain LTE antennas if signal strength is limited. Regularly update firmware and secure the Wi‑Fi network with WPA/WPA2‑PSK.
