Cavo di rete S/CONN 75712-R rosso 2 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75712-R is a 2-meter Cat6a S/FTP Ethernet cable designed for high-speed network connections in home and office environments. It provides support for up to 10 Gigabit Ethernet where installed infrastructure and devices allow, and features RJ-45 connectors with gold plating to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The cable’s S/FTP shielding and twisted pair construction help minimise electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, while the red jacket offers clear visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braided shield with individually shielded twisted pairs to deliver stable signal integrity and reduced external interference. Cat6a specification ensures improved performance over Cat5e and Cat6 at higher frequencies and longer distances for demanding applications. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors provide reliable mating, lower contact resistance and better long-term durability. The 2 m length is suitable for short runs between devices, racks or wall outlets, while the coloured jacket simplifies cable management and identification.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, laptops and workstations to a switch or router
• Patch panel and rack connections in small office networks
• High-speed streaming and large file transfers within local networks
• Structured cabling where S/FTP shielding is required to reduce interference

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (braided overall shield + individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Length: 2 m
• Conductor configuration: twisted pair
• Jacket colour: red

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connectors into the corresponding network ports on devices such as switches, routers, network interface cards or wall outlets until the latch clicks. Ensure connectors are fully seated and not bent sharply at the cable exit to avoid strain. For installations in patch panels or racks, route the cable to avoid tight bends and keep it separate from high-voltage power lines to maintain shielding effectiveness.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in conjunction with compatible Cat6a-rated hardware and patch panels. Avoid running the cable parallel to power cables for long distances, and maintain bend radius recommendations from network equipment manufacturers to preserve signal integrity and connector life.
