Scatola di distribuzione a parete in fibra ottica DeLOCK 86837

The DeLOCK Fiber optic wall distribution box 86837 is a compact enclosure for organizing and protecting fiber optic cables and adapters. Designed for wall mounting, it features a double door design and an internal adapter plate that accommodates up to 24 fiber optic couplings (SC, LC, FC, ST or E2000). The box provides two metric cable gland entry points at the top and bottom for securing incoming and outgoing fiber cables and offers a tidy arrangement for connections in telecommunications or data network installations.

Advantages

The distribution box supports up to 24 adapters on a removable adapter plate, enabling flexible adapter combinations (SC, LC, FC, ST or E2000). Its double door design allows easy access for installation and maintenance. With two metric cable gland entries at the top and bottom, fiber cables can be fixed securely. The enclosure dimensions (402 mm × 110 mm × 325 mm) make it suitable for a variety of wall-mounted installations while protecting fibers from mechanical damage and dust.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Indoor wall-mounted fiber optic termination and distribution
• Organizing and protecting SC, LC, FC, ST or E2000 adapters and patching
• Small to medium telecommunication or data network closets
• Environments requiring secure cable entry using metric cable glands

Key specifications

• Brand: DELOCK
• Model / MPN: 86837
• EAN: 4043619868377
• Adapter capacity: up to 24 fiber optic couplings (SC, LC, FC, ST or E2000)
• Mounting: wall-mount
• Cable entry: two openings with metric cable glands (top and bottom)
• Dimensions (W × D × H): 402 mm × 110 mm × 325 mm

How to use

Mount the distribution box securely to a wall using appropriate fasteners for the wall material. Install the removable adapter plate and fit the chosen fiber optic couplings (SC, LC, FC, ST or E2000) into the plate according to your network layout. Route fiber optic cables through the metric cable glands at the top or bottom, secure them with the glands to prevent movement, and complete splicing or connector termination inside the enclosure. Close the doors after finishing connections to protect fibers from dust and mechanical interference.

Recommendations

Perform cable preparation and connectorization in a clean environment and follow standard fiber handling practices to avoid contamination. Use appropriate strain relief and ensure cable glands are tightened to prevent cable movement. Verify connector types and adapter alignment before finalising installation.
