Cassetta di giunzione in fibra ottica DeLOCK 66999 nero metallo 482x220x44mm

The DeLOCK 66999 fibre optic splice enclosure is a pre-assembled, rack-mountable solution for establishing secure and organised fibre optic connections in buildings. Housed in a black metal case with dimensions 482 x 220 x 44 mm, the unit is designed for 19" rack installation and protects splices while keeping patching and routing accessible.

Advantages

The enclosure comes ready for splicing with 12 pre-installed pigtails and six LC Duplex couplers, simplifying installation and reducing on-site preparation time. Its metal construction offers mechanical protection and electromagnetic robustness, while the pull-out front panel provides convenient access to both sides of the couplers without removing the cover.

Suitable for

• 19" rack-mounted fibre optic distribution in data closets and server rooms
• Building backbone and horizontal cabling terminations
• Organised splice storage and protection for singlemode fibre networks
• Environments requiring multiple LC Duplex connections

How to use

Mount the enclosure in a 19" rack using the front mounting holes. Route incoming and outgoing fibres to the enclosure entry points, secure fibres as required, and perform splicing inside the provided splice cassette where the 12 pigtails are already inserted. After splicing, route the pigtails to the LC Duplex couplers on the front panel and plug in patch cords. The pull-out front panel allows access to both sides of the couplers for connection work without removing the entire cover.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use clean connectors and perform fusion splices following standard fibre handling procedures. Ensure strain relief for incoming fibres and avoid tight bends near the splice cassette. Store spare slack inside the enclosure and label connections for easier maintenance.
