Cassetta di giunzione in fibra ottica DeLOCK 67004 nero metallo 482x220x44mm

The DeLOCK 67004 fibre optic splice enclosure is a pre-assembled 19" rack-mount unit for secure and organised storage of fibre optic splices. Housed in a black metal case with dimensions 482 x 220 x 44 mm, it provides protection and easy access to spliced fibres and is suitable for building and data centre installations.

Advantages

The enclosure comes pre-equipped with 12 LC Duplex couplers and 24 pigtails already inserted into the splice cassette, enabling fast and reliable splicing. A pull-out front panel (drawer) allows access to both sides of the couplers without removing the cover, facilitating maintenance and cable routing. The metal housing offers robust mechanical protection for the fibre terminations.

Suitable for

• Rack-mounted fibre distribution in 19" cabinets
• Indoor building backbone and floor distribution
• Data centre patching and fibre management
• Telecommunications rooms and wiring closets

How to use

Mount the enclosure in a 19" rack using appropriate screws and cage nuts. Route incoming and outgoing fibre cables into the enclosure through the designated cable entries, secure them with strain relief, and prepare fibres for splicing. Perform fusion or mechanical splicing in the provided splice cassette where the 24 pigtails are already positioned. Once splices are complete, organise and secure fibres in the cassette and close the drawer to restore mechanical protection.

Recommendations

Use trained personnel for fibre preparation and splicing. Ensure proper bend radius management and strain relief to maintain optical performance. Store unused pigtails and spare fibres neatly in the cassette to prevent damage.
