Seghetto a mano Stanley 1-19-800

The Stanley 1-19-800 hand saw is a 350 mm manual cutting tool designed for accurate, controlled crosscuts and rip cuts in wood and common construction materials. The saw combines a durable black-and-yellow finish with an ergonomically shaped handle to support sustained use while maintaining cutting precision. Its blade geometry and tooth set are engineered to deliver consistent, clean cuts suitable for both professional carpentry tasks and home DIY projects.

Advantages

The tool provides a compact cutting length of 350 mm that balances reach and control for detailed work. The ergonomic handle reduces hand fatigue and improves grip stability, allowing for steady sawing strokes. The blade's hardened teeth and consistent tooth spacing contribute to efficient material removal and straight cut lines, while the robust finish protects the tool from everyday wear typical in workshop and on-site environments.

Suitable for

• Crosscutting and ripping small-to-medium lumber pieces
• Trimming door jambs, window frames and molding
• Carpentry, joinery and general woodworking tasks
• Home improvement and DIY repairs

Key specifications

• Blade length: 350 mm
• Handle: ergonomic grip for improved comfort and control
• Finish: durable black and yellow coating
• Blade: manual saw blade with hardened teeth for wood cutting
• Application: manual hand saw for woodworking and general cutting tasks

How to use

Secure the workpiece with clamps or in a vise to prevent movement. Position the saw at the correct angle for the cut type—lower angle for rip cuts and a slightly higher angle for crosscuts—and start with a few light forward strokes to create a guide kerf. Apply steady, even pressure and use the full length of the blade for efficient cutting. Maintain a comfortable grip on the handle and let the saw's teeth do the cutting; avoid forcing the blade to preserve tooth alignment and prolong blade life.

Recommendations

Inspect the blade before use and replace the saw if teeth are damaged or worn. Keep the blade clean and store the saw in a dry place to prevent corrosion. For precise finish cuts, mark the cut line clearly and use controlled, steady strokes. When working on larger or harder materials, consider progressive sawing with periodic checks for blade wear to maintain accuracy.
