Set coltelli/portacoltelli ZWILLING 35145-007-0 – 7 pezzi con coltello da chef, coltello pelapatate, coltello per pane, forbici da cucina, ceppo nero

The ZWILLING 35145-007-0 knife set is a 7-piece set from the FOUR STAR series that combines stainless steel blades with a self-sharpening block. The set includes paring, utility, carving, chef's and bread knives, multi-purpose shears and a SharpBlock with KIS technology. The block's built-in ceramic stones automatically align and maintain the edges each time a knife is inserted or removed, eliminating the need for manual sharpening and keeping knives ready for use.

Advantages

ZWILLING SharpBlock with KIS technology maintains consistent edge geometry by using two ceramic sharpening stones in each slot for smooth-edged knives, reducing the need for force and improving cutting safety. The set is presented in a matt black ash wood block with a stainless steel cover for increased durability. Pictograms on the slots indicate the correct position for each knife, and FOUR STAR® knives are manufactured in Solingen.

How to use

Insert each knife into its designated slot as indicated by the pictograms on the block. Each time a smooth-edged knife is inserted or removed, the integrated ceramic stones refine the edge at the correct angle. Use the appropriate knife from the set for the task: paring knife for small peeling and trimming, utility knife for mid-size tasks, chef's knife for chopping and dicing, carving knife for slicing cooked meats and bread knife for loaves. Clean knives by hand and dry them immediately before returning them to the block.

Recommendations

Do not place the knives or the block in the dishwasher. Avoid cutting on very hard surfaces such as glass or stone to preserve edge life. Periodically check slots and blades for debris and clean the block according to the manufacturer's instructions to ensure continued self-sharpening performance.
