Cavo di rete RJ45 S/CONN 5m verde Cat6 S/FTP

The S/CONN 5m RJ45 networking cable Green Cat6 S/FTP by ShiverPeaks is a 5-meter Cat6 patch cable designed for reliable high-speed Ethernet connections. Constructed to Cat6 performance, the cable uses S/FTP (Screened Foiled Twisted Pair) shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and features gold-plated RJ45 connectors for improved contact and corrosion resistance. The halogen-free jacket in green provides a visible color coding option for network installations in homes, offices, and data cabinets.

Advantages

The S/FTP shielding and individually foil-wrapped pairs offer enhanced protection against external noise, which supports stable Gigabit Ethernet and reliable data transmission. Gold-plated 8/8 RJ45 plugs ensure consistent connector performance and reduced signal loss at termination points. The halogen-free outer jacket improves safety and environmental properties compared to standard PVC sheathing, and the 5 m length balances flexibility and reach for typical desktop and rack-to-desk connections.

Suitable for

• Wired Gigabit Ethernet connections in home and small office networks
• Patch panels and switch-to-workstation cabling in structured cabling setups
• Network equipment interconnects where reduced interference is required
• Color-coded cable routing and identification in server rooms and closets

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6 patch cable
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall screen with foil-wrapped individual pairs)
• Connector type: RJ45 8/8 plugs, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 5 meters
• Sheath: Halogen-free jacket
• Color: Green
• Suitable for: Gigabit Ethernet and up to Cat6 performance

How to use

Connect one RJ45 plug to the network switch, router, or wall outlet and the other plug to the target device such as a PC, printer, or network hub. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference for optimal signal integrity. For fixed installations, label or tie the cable as needed to maintain organized cable management.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat6 S/FTP cable for Gigabit Ethernet links and maintain bend radius recommendations to avoid damaging internal conductors. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines to minimize potential interference. When deploying multiple cables, use consistent color-coding and labeling to simplify maintenance and troubleshooting.
