Cavo di rete S/CONN 08-22070 Grigio 10 m Cat6 U/UTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-22070 Grey 10 m Cat6 U/UTP is a 10-metre Ethernet patch cable designed for wired network connections up to gigabit speeds. Constructed to Cat6 specifications with U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair with unshielded overall jacket) configuration, the cable delivers stable data transmission for home and office networks. Both ends are terminated with RJ-45 plugs featuring gold-plated contacts to improve signal continuity and reduce contact corrosion over time.

Advantages

This Cat6 cable supports data rates up to 1000 Mbit/s and is suitable for typical Ethernet applications including 10/100/1000BASE-T networks. The gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and minimize signal loss at the interface. Its 10 m length provides flexible device placement without the need for additional extenders, and the grey jacket offers a neutral, professional appearance that blends into most installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop computers, switches and routers in home or office networks
• Wiring network-enabled devices such as IP cameras, NAS units and smart TVs
• Temporary or permanent patching in network cabinets and patch panels
• General Ethernet cabling where Cat6 performance at up to 1000 Mbit/s is required

Key specifications

• Category: Cat6
• Length: 10 m
• Cable type: U/UTP (unshielded twisted pair)
• Connector type: RJ-45 on both ends
• Contact plating: gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported data rate: up to 1000 Mbit/s
• Colour: grey

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of the source device (router, switch or modem) and the other connector into the destination device (computer, NAS, IP camera, smart TV). Ensure connectors click into place and that cables are routed without tight bends or sharp kinks. For wall-mounted or rack-mounted equipment, leave a service loop to prevent tension on the connectors. Test the connection after installation to verify link status and negotiated speed.

Recommendations

Use this Cat6 U/UTP cable for standard gigabit Ethernet runs up to 10 metres. Avoid running the cable in parallel with high-voltage power lines or near strong electromagnetic sources to reduce potential interference. For environments with significant electrical noise or where cable runs exceed recommended lengths, consider shielded cables or structured cabling solutions designed for those conditions.
