Cavo di rete S/CONN 08-41076 10 m Cat8.1 F/FTP bianco

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-41076 10m Cat8.1 F/FTP White is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired networks. It conforms to the Cat8.1 standard and uses F/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference, providing stable connections for high-speed data transmission. The cable is terminated with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts and comes in a 10 meter length with a white jacket for a clean installation appearance.

Advantages

F/FTP shielding (foil around each pair plus overall foil) improves resistance to crosstalk and external electromagnetic noise, which helps maintain signal integrity in crowded cable environments. Cat8.1 specification supports higher bandwidth and lower latency compared with earlier categories, making the cable suitable for applications that require reliable, high-throughput connections. Gold-plated contacts on the RJ-45 plugs offer improved corrosion resistance and consistent electrical contact over time. The 10 m length allows flexible placement of equipment without the need for additional patching.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area networks (LAN) requiring Cat8.1 performance
• Server rooms and data centers with short to medium cable runs
• Workstations, network switches, and routers needing shielded connections
• Home offices and multimedia setups that require low-latency wired links

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: F/FTP (foil around each pair plus overall foil)
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Length: 10 m
• Jacket color: White

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the Ethernet port of your device (switch, router, network card or modem) and the other plug to the corresponding port of the network equipment. Ensure connectors are fully seated until they click to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and areas with strong electromagnetic sources to preserve shielding effectiveness. For installations in patch panels or keystone jacks, verify connector compatibility and insert the cable accordingly.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use the cable within its specified 10 m run for Cat8.1 applications and avoid tight coils or kinks. When installing in environments with multiple conductive cables or equipment, maintain proper grounding of network devices and metal racks to maximize the benefit of F/FTP shielding.
