Cavo di rete S/CONN 08-42032 giallo Cat8.1 U/FTP (STP)

The S/CONN 08-42032 Yellow Cat8.1 U/FTP (STP) networking cable by ShiverPeaks is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired networks. Compliant with Cat8.1 specifications, it supports high-speed data transmission and is built with U/FTP shielding to reduce crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. The cable is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors and has a yellow jacket for easy visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

This Cat8.1 cable provides enhanced signal integrity thanks to U/FTP (individually foil-shielded pairs plus an overall braid) construction, which helps maintain stable throughput in environments with heavy electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure reliable contact and lower contact resistance for consistent data transfer. The robust outer jacket and precise pair shielding contribute to long service life and predictable performance under continuous load.

Suitable for

• Data centers and server rooms requiring high-speed uplinks
• High-density networking in telecommunications closets and racks
• Point-to-point connections for 25G/40G Ethernet over short links where Cat8.1 is appropriate
• Environments with high EMI where shielded cabling is necessary

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: U/FTP (individually foil‑shielded pairs with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold plating
• Conductor arrangement: Four twisted pairs
• Color: Yellow

How to use

Install the cable by routing it through cable trays or conduits to avoid sharp bends and maintain the specified minimum bend radius. Terminate both ends with compatible RJ-45 ports or patch panels rated for Cat8.1 performance. When connecting to network equipment, ensure that the connectors are fully seated and that shielding continuity is maintained through properly grounded panels or connectors to benefit from the cable's U/FTP protection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid excessive bending, tension, and exposure to high heat. Use the cable for short to medium-length links typical of data center top-of-rack and switch-to-switch connections, and pair it with shielded network hardware and properly grounded racks to fully utilize the benefits of Cat8.1 U/FTP shielding.
