Cavo di rete S/CONN 08-42152 giallo Cat8.1 U/FTP (STP)

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 08-42152 Yellow Cat8.1 U/FTP (STP) is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding network environments. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard and equipped with U/FTP shielding, this cable reduces crosstalk and external interference to maintain signal integrity. The cable terminates in RJ-45 connectors with gold-plated contacts to ensure consistent connectivity and corrosion resistance. Its yellow jacket improves visibility for organized rack or floor cabling.

Advantages

The Cat8.1 specification supports very high-frequency transmission and the U/FTP (STP) shielding provides improved protection against electromagnetic interference compared with unshielded alternatives. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts deliver reliable mating cycles and stable electrical contact. The colored outer sheath makes cable routing and identification easier in dense installations. Overall, the cable is intended to deliver low-loss data transfer and robust physical connectivity in performance-focused setups.

Suitable for

• Data center interconnects and top-of-rack connections
• High-speed server-to-switch links
• Network closets, patch panels, and structured cabling
• Environments with elevated electromagnetic interference
• Temporary or permanent visible cable runs requiring color coding

Key specifications

• Category: Cat8.1 compliant cable
• Shielding: U/FTP (each pair individually foil-shielded with overall braid)
• Connector type: RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum supported bandwidth: up to 2000 MHz
• Intended use: Ethernet networking at multi-gigabit speeds
• Jacket color: yellow for high visibility

How to use

Insert the RJ-45 connector into the corresponding jack until the latch clicks to establish a secure connection. Route the cable through cable management channels or trays to avoid sharp bends and excessive strain on the connectors. For installations in electrically noisy environments, connect shielding to equipment ground according to site grounding practices to maximise interference protection. Test each run with appropriate network cabling testers to verify pair continuity, attenuation, and return loss before placing into production.

Recommendations

Use this Cat8.1 U/FTP cable for short to medium-length high-speed links where bandwidth and shielding are priorities. Maintain bend radius guidelines, avoid running parallel to high-power electrical lines, and ensure proper termination and grounding to achieve advertised performance.
