Cavo di rete S/CONN 75717-HY giallo 7,5 m Cat6 S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75717-HY Yellow 7.5m Cat6 S/FTP is a Category 6 patch cable designed for reliable high-speed data transmission in home and office networks. The cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and maintain signal integrity over its 7.5-metre length. Equipped with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts, the cable provides consistent connectivity and corrosion resistance for extended use.

Advantages

S/FTP construction combines an overall shield with individually shielded pairs to limit crosstalk and external interference, supporting improved throughput and stable connections. The Cat6 specification enables higher bandwidth and better performance compared with lower categories, while the gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure durable mating with network ports and reduced contact resistance. The yellow jacket improves cable identification in complex installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting desktop PCs, switches and routers within a local area network
• Home office and small business wiring where interference reduction is required
• Temporary or permanent structured cabling where a visible color is preferred for organization

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually shielded pairs)
• Length: 7.5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Jacket color: Yellow
• Suitable for Ethernet speeds up to Gigabit Ethernet and typical Cat6 bandwidths

How to use

Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network port of your device and the other into the corresponding port on the switch, router or wall outlet. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the locking tab clicks to guarantee a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference; secure it with cable ties or clips as needed to maintain a tidy installation.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, avoid sharp bends and repeated mechanical stress. When using in environments with heavy electrical equipment, keep the cable separated from power lines to reduce potential interference. Periodically inspect connectors for contamination and replace the cable if jacket damage or persistent connection issues occur.
