Cavo di rete S/CONN 75725-R rosso 15 m Cat6a S/FTP

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN 75725-R Red 15m Cat6a S/FTP is a 15-metre patch cable engineered for high-speed network connections. Built to Cat6a specification with S/FTP shielding, this cable supports reliable data transmission and improved resistance to external electromagnetic interference. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to ensure stable contact and minimal signal loss. Its red jacket offers easy visual identification in multi-cable installations.

Advantages

Cat6a performance enables support for high-bandwidth applications and longer transmission distances compared to lower-category cables. The S/FTP shielding provides individual pair foil plus an overall braid for superior protection against crosstalk and external noise. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs deliver corrosion-resistant contacts and consistent connection quality. The 15 m length balances reach and manageability for patching between racks, desks, and network equipment.

Suitable for

• Connecting switches, routers and patch panels in office and data center environments
• High-speed Ethernet applications, including 10 Gigabit networks where supported
• Workstations, servers and networked storage devices requiring stable wired connections
• Cabling runs where clear color identification is useful for management and troubleshooting

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat6a
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individual pair foil)
• Length: 15 metres
• Connectors: RJ-45 ends with gold-plated contacts
• Conductor type: twisted pairs (AWG appropriate for Cat6a performance)
• Jacket color: red

How to use

Plug one gold-plated RJ-45 connector into the network port of your switch, router or computer and insert the other end into the corresponding port on the destination device. Avoid sharp bends and kinks in the cable to maintain signal integrity; follow standard cable bend radius recommendations. Route the cable away from strong sources of electromagnetic interference and secure it with appropriate cable management accessories to prevent accidental disconnection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat6a S/FTP cable in conjunction with shielded networking equipment and proper grounding where available. When installing in dense cable bundles or near power lines, maintain separation or use conduit to reduce potential interference. Verify link speeds and negotiate duplex settings on connected devices to ensure the network operates at expected throughput.
