Cavo di rete S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 3 m rosso

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 3 m Red is a 3-meter Ethernet cable designed for high-speed data transmission and reliable network connections. Constructed with S/FTP shielding and terminated with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this cable aims to reduce interference and maintain signal integrity in demanding environments. The red jacket provides clear visual identification and can simplify cable management in multi-cable setups.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to minimise crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference, which supports stable performance at higher frequencies. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer improved conductivity and corrosion resistance for consistent contact quality. The 3 m length accommodates typical desktop-to-switch connections without excess slack, and the durable outer jacket helps protect the internal conductors from mechanical wear.

Suitable for

• Connecting PCs, workstations, and network switches in offices and home networks
• High-bandwidth applications such as video streaming, online gaming, and large file transfers
• Structured cabling installations requiring enhanced shielding
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference from nearby equipment

Key specifications

• Cable category: Category 7 (Cat. 7)
• Shielding: S/FTP — overall braided shield plus individually shielded twisted pairs
• Length: 3 metres
• Connector type: RJ-45 plugs
• Contact finish: Gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity
• Conductor type: Stranded or solid copper conductors (suitable for flexible patching)
• Outer jacket colour: Red

How to use

Insert one RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet port of your device and the other connector into the corresponding port on your router, switch, or modem. Ensure both connectors are fully seated until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and pinch points; leave some slack at each end to permit movement and reduce strain on the connectors. For best signal performance, avoid running the cable parallel and close to power lines or large electrical devices.

Recommendations

Use this Cat. 7 S/FTP cable in setups where reduced interference and higher-frequency performance are required. For rack or wall installations, use appropriate cable management accessories and avoid tight bends smaller than the cable's minimum bend radius. Periodically inspect connectors for dust or damage and replace the cable if the jacket or connectors show signs of wear.
