Cavo di rete S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m rosso

The ShiverPeaks Networking Cable S/CONN Cat. 7 S/FTP 5 m Red is a high-performance Ethernet patch cable designed for reliable wired connections in home and office networks. This 5-meter Cat 7 cable uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, and it is fitted with RJ-45 connectors featuring gold-plated contacts for stable signal transfer and improved corrosion resistance. Its red jacket provides easy identification within structured cabling or multimedia setups.

Advantages

The S/FTP construction combines an overall braid with individually shielded pairs to deliver enhanced noise protection and signal integrity, suitable for environments with multiple electronic devices. Gold-plated RJ-45 contacts ensure consistent conductivity and longer connector lifespan. The 5 m length balances reach and cable management, while the durable outer sheath resists wear from regular routing and handling. The cable meets Cat 7 performance characteristics for high-speed LAN applications.

Suitable for

• Wired connections between PCs, switches, routers, and networked devices
• High-speed local area networks requiring reduced interference
• Home office and professional workstations where cable color-coding is required
• Multimedia setups and AV installations with demand for stable data transfer

Key specifications

• Category: Cat. 7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foil-shielded pairs)
• Length: 5 m
• Connector type: RJ-45
• Contact plating: Gold-plated contacts
• Cable color: Red
• Typical use: Ethernet / LAN connections

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 connector to the Ethernet port of your device and the other to a router, switch, or wall outlet patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until they click for a secure physical and electrical connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and tension; leave some slack near connectors to prevent stress. For best performance, keep the cable separated from sources of strong electromagnetic interference such as large power transformers or bundled power cords.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit or multi-gigabit performance, use this Cat. 7 S/FTP cable within typical Ethernet standards and check that connected hardware supports the desired link speed. Use the red color to implement consistent cable labeling in rack or desk installations and replace the cable if connectors or the jacket show visible damage.
