Cavo in fibra ottica S/CONN 07-200095 LC OS2 20 m nero verde

The S/CONN 07-200095 LC OS2 20 m Black Green is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for reliable long-distance data transmission in structured networks. It has LC connectors on both ends and complies with OS2 single-mode specifications. The cable uses a 9 µm core diameter typical for OS2 fibre, and the dual-colour jacket (black with green identification) supports clear visual organisation in racks and cable runs.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable provides low attenuation consistent with OS2 single-mode performance and preserves signal integrity over longer runs compared with multimode alternatives. LC-to-LC connectors offer a compact form factor that fits high-density panels and transceiver ports. The 20 m length allows flexible placement between equipment while the colour coding reduces the risk of mispatching during installation and maintenance.

Suitable for

• Single-mode network links in data centres and server rooms
• Connecting optical transceivers, SFP/SFP+ modules and patch panels
• Backbone cabling and long-distance point-to-point links within buildings
• Telecommunications and ISP equipment interconnections

Key specifications

• Length: 20 m
• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm (single-mode)
• Connector type: LC to LC
• Jacket colour: Black with green identification

How to use

Inspect connector endfaces for cleanliness before connecting and clean with appropriate fibre cleaning tools if necessary. Insert each LC connector into the corresponding LC adapter or transceiver port until it clicks into place. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and maintain the minimum bend radius specified by the cable manufacturer. For disconnection, press the LC latch and gently withdraw the connector to avoid damage to the ferrule or fibre.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable to prevent excessive bending, pulling beyond the tensile rating, or exposure to strong mechanical stress. Use dust caps when connectors are not in use and perform regular visual inspections and endface cleaning to maintain optimal optical performance.
