Cavo in fibra ottica S/CONN 07-200485 LC OS2 30 m nero verde

The S/CONN 07-200485 LC OS2 30 m Black Green is a single-mode fibre optic patch cable designed for high-speed, low-loss connections in structured cabling environments. It features LC connectors on both ends and an OS2 fibre core with a 9 µm diameter, providing stable transmission over longer distances. The cable's 30 m length and dual-colour jacket (black with green elements) help with routing and identification in racks and pathways.

Advantages

This fibre optic cable offers low attenuation typical of OS2 single-mode fibres and compact LC connectors that save panel space. The 9 µm core size supports single-mode transmission characteristics for consistent signal integrity. The 30 m length accommodates common rack-to-rack and room-to-room runs without additional splices. The black and green colouring improves visual identification and cable management in multi-cable installations.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OS2 single-mode
• Core diameter: 9 µm
• Connectors: LC to LC
• Cable length: 30 m
• Jacket colour: Black with green marking
• Application: Patch cable for structured cabling and fibre panels

How to use

Route the cable between LC-equipped ports on switches, transceivers or patch panels, ensuring connectors are clean before insertion to prevent contamination-related loss. Insert the LC connectors into the corresponding ports with a gentle push until they click into place, and secure any excess length with appropriate cable management accessories to avoid tight bends. When disconnecting, press the LC latch and pull straight to remove without twisting.

Recommendations

Maintain connector end-face cleanliness by using approved fibre cleaning tools and inspect terminations before use. Avoid bending the cable beyond its minimum bend radius and protect termini during storage and transport to preserve performance over time.
