SHIVERPEAKS S/CONN maximum connectivity Cat. 6A Flex S/FTP Cavo patch, 10 m, bianco 08-28076

In a busy office where every second counts, a network engineer unrolls this white 10-meter patch cable to connect a workstation to a wall outlet across the room. The cable bends easily around corners and through cable trays without kinking, thanks to its flexible stranded conductors and snagless boots. It is a reliable link for 10 Gigabit Ethernet, ensuring smooth data transfer even in dense, high-traffic environments.

Key specifications

• Category 6A (Class EA) performance with up to 500 MHz bandwidth
• S/FTP shielding: overall braided screen plus individually foil-wrapped pairs (PiMF) for superior noise immunity
• Stranded copper conductors, AWG 26/7, for excellent flexibility
• Gold-plated RJ45 connectors (8P8C) on both ends, wired to TIA/EIA 568B
• Supports 10GBASE-T up to 10 Gbps and PoE (PoE, PoE+, 4PPoE/PoE++)
• PVC jacket, white colour, outer diameter approx. 6.2 mm
• Length: 10 m

Why choose it

This patch cable combines high-performance Cat. 6A specifications with exceptional flexibility. The S/FTP shielding protects against electromagnetic interference, making it ideal for industrial environments or areas with heavy cable bundles. The snagless molded boots prevent damage to the connector clips during installation, and the stranded copper construction allows for repeated bending without breakage. It is a durable, future-proof choice for demanding network infrastructures.

Ideal use cases

• Connecting servers and switches in data centres
• Linking workstations to patch panels in office networks
• Supporting high-bandwidth applications like video editing or large file transfers
• Powering PoE devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points
• Use in environments with high electromagnetic interference, such as near machinery

Good to know

The cable meets Cat. 6A standards, ensuring performance up to 500 MHz and support for 10GBASE-T over distances up to 100 meters (this 10 m length is well within limits). It is backwards compatible with Cat. 5e and Cat. 6 networks. The white colour blends unobtrusively into most interiors, and the PVC jacket provides a good balance of flexibility and durability. Operating temperature range is -20°C to 60°C.
