SSD interna CRUCIAL T710 2000 GB NVMe PCIe Gen.5 M.2 2280

CRUCIAL T710 2000GB NVMe PCIe Gen.5 M.2 2280 is an internal solid-state drive engineered for systems that support M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen.5. The drive delivers 2000GB of flash storage in a standard 2280 form factor, intended for installation in compatible desktops and laptops. With a PCIe Gen.5 interface, the SSD is designed to provide high-throughput storage for operating systems, applications, large media libraries and game installations where next-generation bandwidth is available.

Advantages

The drive combines a large 2000GB capacity with an M.2 2280 footprint and a PCIe Gen.5 NVMe interface to enable faster sequential and random transfers compared with earlier PCIe generations in supported platforms. Its internal design minimizes mechanical latency and improves responsiveness for system boot, application loading and file transfers. The compact module simplifies installation in standard M.2 slots without requiring external power or cables.

Suitable for

• Primary system drive for desktops and laptops with M.2 NVMe PCIe Gen.5 support
• High-capacity game libraries and large media collections
• Application storage for content creation, editing and development workflows
• Fast temporary storage for large file transfers and project files

Key specifications

• Form factor: M.2 2280
• Interface: NVMe over PCIe Gen.5
• Capacity: 2000GB (2TB)
• Storage type: Solid-state (NAND flash)
• Typical use: internal SATA-free NVMe storage for system and data

How to use

Install the M.2 2280 module into an available M.2 slot on a motherboard or laptop that supports NVMe over PCIe Gen.5, securing it with the appropriate standoff and screw. Configure the drive in system BIOS/UEFI if necessary, then initialize, partition and format the drive within the operating system. Use it as a boot drive or as a high-performance secondary volume for applications, games and media. Follow the host device manufacturer’s guidance for M.2 installation and BIOS settings.

Recommendations

Ensure your desktop or laptop motherboard explicitly supports PCIe Gen.5 NVMe devices to obtain full performance. Keep firmware and system BIOS updated, use proper cooling or heatsinks if the platform recommends them, and monitor drive health with compatible utilities to maintain reliable operation.
